© William Reynolds-Green
William Reynolds-Green's drawings, illustrations and contemporary paintings cross disciplines and industries to explore biography and place. He has worked in technical illustration and computer graphics for video games since 1986, for companies including Spelling Entertainment and Sierra On-Line Inc. on games including Kings Quest and Leisure Suit Larry. After over a decade of commercial work, Reynolds-Green began exploring traditional painting techniques, photo-realism and working with found materials. His contemporary paintings are greatly influenced by both the surrealists (Dali, Magritte) and the great landscape painters (William Turner, Fredrick Church), while his subject matter is greatly influenced by his upbringing the California low desert. Reynolds-Green currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
